Friday... THE THIRTEENTH.

Today is Friday the 13th. Which means absolutely nothing really, just thought I'd share what day it is. ha!
I spent no money today. Neither did Luke. boooring. ;)

I was hoping to take Kasen to the Children's Museum tomorrow (we are allowed one family outing per month if we want it), but Luke told me he was planning on taking us somewhere. He won't say where. Stinker! All he said is that it's "far, far away". From where we live, that could be basically ANYWHERE. lol! I'm guessing a park, but it's suppose to be cold so I don't think that'll be much fun... Guess we'll see tomorrow.

Who Am I? What Is This?

Hi, I'm Helen. I'm the crazy lady who thought this would be a great challenge. A whole year without wasting money or resources (ie buying used instead of new).
The hubby (Luke) jumped right on board. Then, I asked some other great mamas to join me. So, here we are... Some crazy families making a HUGE commitment for one year - 2009.
The goal for our family is to be out of debt, other than our mortgage. We currently owe a little on Luke's car & a lot on my college loans. By sticking to this commitment we'll be able to pay off that debt! The sacrifices of the next year will (hopefully) lead to many more years of joy and, ultimately, financial freedom.
